"A sensational new Cera F powder with a wide ideal range; +1°C to -10°C (34°F to 14°F). Positioned between FC8 and FC7. This powder has a high melting point (hardness) at 144°C. Recommended iron setting of 165°C (330°F). The base waxes for FC78 are generally HF and HFBW 4, 6, 7 or 8. OBS! Should be used by experienced waxers to avoid overheating of ski base. 30 g. Super Cera is a success in World Cups Alpine, Cross Country and Biathlon. It is especially good in transformed snow and covered both cold as well as wet conditions. Recommended for Vasaloppet and the Norwegian Birkebeiner Race. APPLICATION: -Requires a good iron like T72 Swix Digital. -Iron in at 165°C (330°F). 3 seconds per ski. -Brush up with a stiff Nylon brush (T0194). -Iron in once more at 165°C (330°F). 3 seconds per ski. -Brush up with the stiff Nylon brush (T0194). -Brush away with a Wild Boar brush (T0164). -Finish with a Polish brush (T0160)."

I have not found a 100% fluorocarbon that will hold up to cold and transformed snow half as well as Swix Super Cera does. This product has a higher melting point so you will want a good wax iron but the high melting point is what gives this wax unmatched performance. I vote Swix Super cera as Gear West product of the year...Great long distance race wax.
